Private 7Hour Guided Sailboat Yacht Cruise Tour in Algarve

About This Experience
7h - Full day Luxury Sail-Yacht cruise + Anchored Chill Out with 2 stops: First stop Benagil; Second stop Joao d’Arens(Millionaires Bay) /Alvor;
Seven hours on a crewed sailing yacht, departing Portimão with two anchored stops and the option to bolt on water toys, is a day afloat for those who want space, quiet, and a bit of luxury without the formality of a charter broker. You board at the marina, meet your two crew members—one handling the boat, the other managing guests and kit—and motor out past Ferragudo and Algar Seco before the sails go up. The yacht is a proper sailboat, not a motor cruiser with a mast for show, and when the wind is right you will spend long stretches under sail alone, heeling gently and listening to the water hiss along the hull.
The first stop is Benagil, where you anchor offshore and can paddle into the famous cave on one of the two included stand-up paddleboards. The second stop is either João d'Arens—a sheltered bay west of Lagos, popular with the villa set and known locally as Millionaires Bay—or the calmer waters off Alvor, depending on wind and swell. Both are good for swimming, and the crew will set up a ladder and float a safety line if needed. The itinerary can be adjusted within the seven-hour window; if you would rather spend more time under sail and less at anchor, or swap one bay for another, the crew will accommodate.
You can bring your own drinks for a modest corkage fee, though spirits and certain other items are not permitted; the crew will clarify when you book. Alternatively, drinks can be arranged in advance. Food is not included, so pack a cooler or ask the crew to recommend a catering service that delivers to the marina. The optional add-ons are eye-wateringly expensive but genuinely unusual: a Seabob underwater scooter, an electric hydrofoil board, or a full-power jet ski with a licensed skipper and fuel included. These are toys for people with money to burn, but if that describes you, having them available for the entire day rather than a metered half-hour is a rare indulgence.
This is a trip for small groups—up to eight, though six is more comfortable—who value privacy and are happy to pay for it. It suits families with older children, couples celebrating something, or friends who want a floating base for the day without the hassle of skippering themselves. It does not suit anyone on a budget, anyone expecting a party-boat atmosphere, or anyone prone to seasickness; a sailing yacht moves differently from a motor cruiser, and the motion can be pronounced if the Atlantic is up. Note the rule on shoes: white-soled deck shoes or similar only, no black rubber that marks the gelcoat. Meet at Portimão Marina; parking is available nearby, though it fills quickly in summer.
