The 9th edition of Jazz nas Adegas brings live jazz to atmospheric wine cellars and estates across Silves. 21 intimate sessions from November 2025 to May 2026 — a unique blend of music, wine, and culture in the Algarve's wine country.
About
Jazz nas Adegas (Jazz in the Wineries) is one of the Algarve's most distinctive cultural programmes. Now in its 9th edition, it combines live jazz performances with wine tastings at local farms and wineries across the municipality of Silves.
The series runs from November 2025 through May 2026, with 21 intimate sessions offering an experience where jazz blends with the wines of Silves in atmospheric rural settings.
Upcoming Programme (Spring 2026)
- Apr 17–18 — João Novais Quartet (jazz standards meets pop covers — Beatles, Sting, George Michael)
- May 8–9 — Swing Téte & Paula Padilla (Dixieland and hot jazz from the 1920s/30s)
- May 16 — Silves Filarmónica Combo (the local philharmonic band's jazz ensemble)
- May 23 — Algarve Jazz Orchestra

This is a rare chance to experience the Algarve's wine country up close — small venues, local producers, live music, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes each session feel like a private event. Live jazz in working wine cellars, surrounded by barrels and vines.
