From 21 February, the new Mercadinho da Figueira brings local producers, artisans, and food lovers together in the Figueira neighbourhood of Portimão.

The first edition is dedicated to the orange, celebrating one of the Algarve's most iconic fruits. Expect stalls selling fresh fruit, honey, traditional liqueurs, regional sweets, and handmade crafts.

The market takes place in the space next to the Figueira sports centre, creating a relaxed, community atmosphere where you can browse, taste, and chat with the people who grow and make what they sell.

Live music and other entertainment often accompany the market, making it a sociable, family-friendly outing as well as a chance to stock up on local produce and gifts.
