A family palaeontology day at the Lagos science centre — fossil handling, hands-on activities, and proper dinosaur talk for curious kids.
A one-day palaeontology event at the Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos aimed squarely at families. Expect fossil-handling stations, model dig pits, and short talks pitched at kid level rather than lecture-hall level. The science centre does this kind of thing well — it's not a passive exhibition, the staff get the kids stuck in.
Best suited to ages roughly four to twelve. Younger ones will enjoy the textures and the dinosaur models; older kids get more from the talks and the activity stations.
Indoors, so weather-proof. Café on site. Worth pairing with the marina walk afterwards if the day stays bright.
