A pop-up evening from the Quinta Art Collective at Lobos in Almancil — local artists' work alongside food and drinks at the restaurant.
The Quinta Art Collective brings its rotating roster of Algarve-based artists into Lobos, the Almancil restaurant that already knows its way around a busy evening. The work goes up around the dining room, you eat, you drink, and if a piece catches your eye there are usually artists in the room to talk to.
It works better than a gallery opening because no one is pretending to be silent and contemplative — it's a restaurant night that happens to have art on the walls. Good for a relaxed dinner with something to look at, less good if you want to study the work in detail.
Book a table — Lobos fills up on event nights, and walk-ins won't get the best of it.
