About This Experience
Join marine biologists to spot dolphins in their natural habitat. Common, bottlenose, and Rissos dolphins are frequently seen.
Sagres is where serious surfers come to ride the Atlantic swells, and it's also the perfect place to learn. Our beginner lessons are held on beaches carefully selected for their gentle, rolling waves - ideal for standing up on your first day.
Your ISA-certified instructor will start with beach theory covering surf safety, ocean awareness, and proper technique. Then it's into the water where you'll practice on foam boards in waist-deep water before progressing to catching real waves.
By the end of the 2-hour lesson, most students are standing up and riding waves to the beach. The stoke is real!
