Benagil Beach is a small cove hemmed in by cliffs, accessible by car and busy for most of the year, but it is also the starting point for one of the Algarve's most popular kayak trips. This two-hour guided paddle takes you west along the coast to Marinha Beach and into the Algar de Benagil, the cathedral-like sea cave that appears on half the postcards in the region.

The tour begins with a briefing on the beach, covering paddling technique, safety, and what to expect. Marinha Beach is a short paddle further west, a postcard cove with ochre cliffs and clear water. Depending on tide and time, the group may stop here to rest or swim.
