The Benagil Express Gold Tour last's 2hours, and departs from Portimão, heading eastwards. You pass the castle of S. João do Arade at Ferragudo and head out to sea, following the coastline of cliffs and coves, passing the amazing rock formations at Boneca and Algar Seco, past the beaches of Carvoeiro, Centeanes and Carvalho, before coming to Benagil where you can see one of the most famous sea caves. All along the route, the Benagil Express takes you into 10 or 12 different caves (depending on the sea and weather conditions), all stunning in their natural beauty. Past Benagil, time to see the gorgeous sea arches at Praia da Marinha, considered one of the most picturesque beaches in Europe and to enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea, if you wish.(Swimming subjecto to sea conditions)
The tour is made along the coast, passing by the famous Praia do Carvoeiro considered in 2018 the «Best Beach in Europe» by the European Best Destination,
If the sea conditions allow we completelly enter the Algar de Benagil, i.e. the famous Benagil cave.
We will surround the famous Archs of Praia da Marinha, where we stop for a swim in the hot summer days (if sea conditions will alow).
