The boat doesn't land inside — you stay afloat — so this is purely a viewing experience, not a chance to walk the sand.
After the caves, the tour shifts inland to a traditional Portuguese pottery workshop. This is where the "traditions" part of the title earns its keep. You'll see how Algarvian pottery differs from other regional styles — the colours, the glazes, the patterns — and get a short demonstration of the wheel and kiln process. It's not a long stop, but it's a genuine working pottery rather than a tourist showroom, and the artisans are usually happy to talk through their work if you're curious.
