The most famous of these is the Benagil cave, a collapsed grotto with a circular skylight and a small beach inside, but it is one of dozens along this stretch. This boat trip covers the route from Portimão to Benagil and back, with a running commentary and regular stops for photographs.

Departure is from the Clube Naval de Portimão, on the river just upstream from Praia da Rocha.
