The final main stop is Ferragudo, a fishing village on the opposite bank of the Arade River from Portimão. Unlike some of the resort towns nearby, Ferragudo has kept much of its traditional character, with narrow streets, whitewashed houses and a working waterfront. You have some free time here to wander, perhaps grab a coffee or a pastel de nata, and soak up the quieter pace. The village is small, so you will not get lost, and the square near the church is a good spot to sit and watch the boats.

Between stops, the drive itself is part of the appeal. The coast road offers long views over the Atlantic, and your guide will point out landmarks and share local context along the way. The tour is not rushed, but it is efficient, and the timing is carefully managed to ensure you are back at the cruise terminal with time to spare.
