Walk along the dramatic cliffs at the southwestern tip of Europe, from the historic Sagres Fortress to the iconic lighthouse at Cabo de Sao Vicente (Cape St. Vincent).

This exposed clifftop trail follows the edge of the Algarve where it meets the Atlantic. The landscape is raw and windswept, with centuries of maritime history.

Start from Sagres village. Parking available at the fortress or in town. Bus service to Cape St. Vincent available in summer.
