Just south of Lagos lies Ponta da Piedade, a headland of extraordinary beauty where wind and waves have sculpted the golden limestone into fantastic shapes. This easy walk takes you along the clifftops to one of Portugal's most iconic natural landmarks.
The Route
Starting from Lagos or nearby Praia Dona Ana, the trail follows new wooden boardwalks along the cliff edge, passing several beautiful beaches before reaching the lighthouse at Ponta da Piedade.
