Fonte Benemola is a protected natural site featuring a year-round stream, unusual in the dry Algarve. This easy walk follows the verdant valley through one of the region's most beautiful natural areas.

Route Overview

The out-and-back trail follows the stream through a gallery forest of ash, willow, and oleander. Natural pools invite swimming in warmer months.

Trail Details

Located near Querenca village. Follow signs from EN124. Small car park at trailhead.
